"In 2001, Max Maier commissioned CWA to produce innovative ideas for unifying their industrial precinct, Werksentrum Weststadt in Ludwigsburg, Germany. 
As many of the buildings were of mixed character, we proposed a series of entrance pavilions that would provide a unifying element, and modeled these using shipping container sections. A further proposition was the application of strong graphic branding to the containers (using the logos of the tenants), which could give a unique identity to the neighborhood, and could change over time, as tenants of the industrial properties changed, or repositioned their brands."
